Peter Deming has worked as the director of photography for some of the most visually inventive directors in Hollywood, including David Lynch (Lost Highway, 1997, Mulholland Drive, 2001), Wes Craven (Scream 2, 1997, Music of the Heart ,1999), David O. Russell (I Heart Huckabees, 2004), Curtis Hanson (Lucky You, 2007) and the Hughes brothers (From Hell, 2001) while proving he is equally adept at comedic material for directors like Jay Roach (Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, 1997, Austin Powers in Goldmember, 2002) and Rob Reiner (Rumor Has It, 2005). He won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography for Mulholland Drive.
